Wheels Honored With 3 Gold Stevie® Awards in the 2019 American Business Awards®

Des Plaines, Ill, May 8, 2019 – Wheels, Inc., a leader in the automotive fleet management industry, is thrilled to announce three gold Stevie® Award wins in the following areas: Mobility On-Demand Application for the FleetView™ Mobile app, Business/Competitive Intelligence for the advanced FleetView Analytics solution and IoT Analytics for the Connected Vehicle Analytics Platform.

Gold Stevie® Award, Mobile On-Demand Application

In FleetView Mobile, the first native application of its kind, Wheels distilled the most requested on-the-go functions of its browser-based application. With the success of the mobile app for drivers, fleet managers sought a solution of their own, prompting Wheels to fast track the creation of the mobile application. With a rapid deployment schedule in place, Wheels released the application five months after development work began.

Gold Stevie® Award, Business/Competitive Intelligence Solution

Wheels is constantly improving its FleetView platform to better facilitate the way users consume key intelligence regarding their fleet. Most recently, Wheels embedded advanced data visualization technology into FleetView, allowing users to more effectively analyze and act on their fleet data. The enhanced data visualization not only offers a 360-degree view of fleet activity but presents data in a way that can be easily consumed by a variety of user types.

Gold Stevie® Award, IoT Analytics Solution

As part of its connected vehicle program, Wheels integrated original equipment manufacturer features, third-party tools and application program interfaces. This allows fleets to connect consistently with vehicles to receive near real-time information related to vehicle and driver location, diagnostics and driver behavior. The information retrieved is integrated with thousands of data points and embedded in FleetView where users experience visual narratives and predictive analytics. This technology can be used to improve vehicle safety, vehicle efficiency and driver productivity.

More than 3,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. Stevie® Award winners will be presented their awards on June 11 in New York.

In the 2018 American Business Awards®, Wheels took home gold, silver and bronze in four categories. Those categories feature its supply management approach, company-wide innovation, customer service department and mobile application for drivers.
