As we continue the LPUSA, LLC transition to the new Wheels brand, we are taking steps to reduce the usage of the name LeasePlan in our communications with clients and drivers. Learn how we are changing the name and icons for the MyLeasePlan app in the Apple App Store and Google Play app store.
In order to ease the transition, we will do this in two phases.
Phase 1: On August 18th, the app will change in the Google and Apple App stores to MyLP – MyLeasePlan. The new icon will maintain LPUSA colors to help with recognition, but instead of the LeasePlan orange journey mark, we’ve simplified it to a LeasePlan orange bar.
Phase 2: In early November, we will transition from MyLP – MyLeasePlan to MyLP. We will alert you again when this change happens.
How will we know when the change has taken place?
On your iPhone and iPad, apps that you download from the App Store are automatically updated by default.
What if I don’t have auto updates enabled?
When you open the App, it will ask you to manually update it.
To manually update apps on your iPhone or iPad:
Open the App Store.
Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All.
To manually update apps on your Android:
Open the Google Play store app.
At the top right, tap the profile icon.
Tap Manage apps & device.
Apps with an update available are labeled “Update available.”
Tap Update.
Please know that as we work through these changes, our top priority is to continue serving our clients and their drivers seamlessly and with minimal disruption.
