New Veterans Access Bill Addresses Driver Shortages
In response to the driver shortage, congress has moved to improve veteran access to Commercial Drivers Licenses by passing the Veteran Improvement Commercial Driver License Act. The act eases regulations for CDL schools and provides flexibility for veterans in building careers. Goldman Sachs Predicts a 50% Drop in Cost for EV Batteries by 2026
There is good news on many fronts for EV adoption. While the expectation is that US sales will remain slow until after the elections, according to Reuters, September global sales rose by an annual rate of 30.5% reaching a nine month high. The cost of EV batteries has contributed to keeping vehicle acquisition relatively high. Now, Goldman Sachs is predicting that the cost of EV batteries will drop significantly by 2026.
