Wheels to be recognized with ASE Blue Seal of Excellence distinction for fourteenth consecutive year
We are pleased to announce that Wheels is set to receive our fourteenth consecutive Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Blue Seal of Excellence certification for our Maintenance Assistance Program (MAP). The ASE Blue Seal of Excellence recognition is bestowed annually on organizations that meet specific criteria for ASE-certified professionals on staff.
ASE certification is a nationally accepted standard for measuring a technician's knowledge and skills. To become certified, individuals must pass difficult industry-developed exams, and then must be retested at regular intervals to remain certified. In order to attain ASE Blue Seal certification, a company must demonstrate that at least 75% of its maintenance technical support technicians are ASE-certified professionals.
Wheels exceeds this standard by requiring that all of our MAP technical advisors become ASE-certified. In fact, the majority of our advisors have achieved advanced certification, with 29 advisors holding Master Technician or Dual Master status (car and truck repairs). Seven of our technicians hold World Class status (car, truck and auto body repairs), which is the highest ASE recognition a technician can receive. World Class certification is an extremely rare and prestigious distinction – less than 1% of all ASE-certified technicians have achieved that status.
